KEKXIFIED
I can actually feel it, March is getting near and I’m ready to march my heels up to the stage and wave my diploma with pride and honor! Obra Kulasa had finally sealed to success and I’m very proud of everything our batch had accomplished!
The reason why I haven’t been blogging for a week because Obra happened and now I’m very busy with the 3 events that will happen on February.
PLUS, it’s been 3 days straight already of on and off fever, LBM and major head ache so I’m advised to have a bed rest but now I’m home alone so I can open my laptop and do some work and blog a little! (I’m so bored resting you know!)
Anyway’s here are some photos from our Obra Kulasa (Advertising and Promotions: Crossing Boundaries: Traversing to the routes of Reality)
So obviously our theme is very well evident and patched to our title perfectly since what we’re doing is showcasing thesis wherein we cross our boundaries to seek knowledge.

That’s what you call team work! :)

My station and Twinkle’s (Tech booth) We are in charge of controlling the slides, obb’s and teasers)

For our entrance! Sakay na! ito ang huling biyahe ng aming thesis! :)

Susunod daw sa biyahe yung Thesis Adviser namin! We love you Sir. Lester!!! :)

Cheers to success! We finally sealed the deal! 3 more events and I’m marching!
The poster proposal I made for Obra Kulasa 2012.. I made it very minimalistic since I’m practicing that art lately and I’m trying to convince my self that I can tone my designs down a bit and voila, I think it went successful! :)
However, the posters I made weren’t the official poster for our Obra since it looks more of an Omnibus poster… Oh well, I enjoyed doing it! :) Wish us luck, our final stretch for our thesis is about to end on January 24, 2012!
Best experience ever! Spending just a night with them is priceless! As their request, we let them watch a horror film, (Amytyville) and had a pre-christmas celebration! We had 2 kilos of spaghetti and 8 bags of chips and miraculously 40 tummies were satisfied that night! Also, for the boys we gave them a chess board since we noticed that they love playing chess and for the girls as their request we gave them precious hearts romances pocket books:) Also brought with us are the donated books from our event last november and they were very happy and thankful! Without this loving community, our thesis wouldn’t be possible and meaningful! :)
So apparently, we are busy packing all the materials for our event ” Spreading the Spreads of Kalahan, Nueva Vizcaya” on November 15, 2011 @ St.Scholastica’s College, St Cecillia’s Bldg. Conference Room A! I hope to see you all there!
You might be wondering what this event is all about. This activity is a promotional event for Mountain Fresh Jams and Jellies.
First, what are Mountain Fresh Jams and Jellies?
- these are products made by an indigenous community in Nueva Vizcaya called the “Ikalahans”

- these spreads are all natural and are carefully made; the products are delicately done and they are all safe to eat because it’s HEALTHY, ALL NATURAL AND CLEAN! =)
Third, who are the beneficiaries of these products?
- THE IKALAHAN COMMUNITY; it helps them sustain their livelihood
